This project required us to create either a sculpture or pixel art of our desired object that has cultural significance.
I chose to create a sculpture of the Bauhinia Blakeana flower. It's significance is that it is the flower on the flag of Hong Kong, thus it represents the country and all of its aspects.
One of the reasons why I chose this is because it was my way of honoring my friends and late mother, who all come from Hong Kong.
The other simpler reason is because I am just really fond of the country.
